Install and download Office 365 application for your PC and Mac

It is necessary and needed of you that you must go through the system requirements to run Office 365.

Office 365 Home version- This is the perfect version for home use, as it has all the basic and necessary features to fulfill your needs. You must have received a product key which came with your Office product. What you have to do is to sign into your Microsoft account with your credentials and enter this product key to register and link this product to your account at www.office.com/setup. If you don’t already have an account then, you must create one immediately. You are required to do this step only once.

Office 365 Business Version- This is an ideal product for small as well as large organization groups. You can accomplish so many tasks with this small software. It enables you to create reports, presentations, presentations with videos, management of your data, emailing and all other tasks you can possibly think for a business. With this also, you must have a Microsoft account to operate your Office software. So, you can create one if you do not have one already.

*Note:* Some of the versions of Office 365 do not have or are connected with any Microsoft, work or student account. You might be required to redeem the product key of your product in a different manner. If you have Office Professional Plus 2019, Office Standard, or even the stand alone apps like Ms Word and more then, the procedure for installation will depend on the following aspects:

  • If you have received your product from your company with the product key then visit Install Office 365 via HUP.
  • If your IT department is one of them which employ different installation method for Office then, you must connect with the department for the same.
  • Lastly, if you purchased Office 365 from an independent third-party retailer.

Install Office for PC

  • Sign into your Microsoft Account-
  • Go to the Microsoft Website www.office.com and then, sign in using your credentials.
  • This account can be a Microsoft, work or school account. So, sign in the one which is connected with your product’s version.
  • Also, if you have forgot the account or password then, you can recover it as well by following the on-screen instructions.
  • Once, you have signed into your account, you must obey the steps that are suitable for your account type.
  1. Go to the Office Home page and then choose Install office.
  2. Now, choose the Install option.

The default version for Office is 64-bit, however, if you have used a 32-bit version in past, then this version will be automatically installed.

Things to consider:

  • If you want to install a 32-bit or 64-bit version but if you already have another one, then you need to uninstall the previously installed Office.
  • To choose the version you want this time, click on ‘other options’ and then select the version along with the language followed by clicking on Install.

After using the above steps, the software will start downloading. Now, you can move forward to next step. If you cannot locate the ‘Install’ option after you have signed in then go to the www.Office365.com/help to resolve this issue.

  • Install the Office 365-
  • Once the ‘.exe’ file has been downloaded, click on it and then choose the ‘Run’ or ‘setup’ or ‘save file’ option. Also, select ‘Yes’ when you are asked by the UAC.
  • Once the install is completed you will come across a message saying “you’re all set! Office is installed now”. You will be taken through the icon of Office and then you must select ‘close’.

To locate your application, if you haven’t seen it yet for it hasn’t appeared on the desktop, you can hit the start button and search for the application you want to access for your Office 365. However, you will probably find the icons on your desktop screen.

  • Activate you Office software-
